Sort-of. My last name contains a non-ASCII character, so I’ve gotten all sorts of correspondence with some rather strange substitutions. Pronunciation tends to be wrong too, but I don’t mind it so much.

As if this was a “problem” unique to Homestuck. I thought the unspoken rule was that, so long as two characters are at least named in a story, someone, somewhere, will ship them, regardless of if they ever meet.

Dirk actually having stated feelings for Jake multiplies the number of people who ship them by, like, a thousand or so.
